Renovation of the entrance door at "Hanasuke", a flower shop on Meguro Street.
The original narrow aluminum door was replaced with a solid wood-framed one. A larger glass panel on top opens the view into the shop, while frosted glass below softly blurs the flowers behind it, like a watercolor painting.
The handle is a custom-bent stainless steel bar, shaped by hand for a comfortable grip. Its organic curves resemble the stem of an allium, and the slight surface distortion adds a subtle texture.
Previously, a heat curtain was used to protect the flowers in summer due to a missing door. The new door, installed at the end of June, was named "The Door to Summer" by the owner.
